Just checked the transmitter in the outside LF transmitting shack before turning in. It is a cold clear night with the outside temperature just above freezing. Plastic sheet covering the outside coils covered in frost except for around the top where it has not formed. Temperature in shack was around 2 degrees at the start of transmission and has now risen to 5degrees now the transmitter has been on for an hour and a half Power down a bit because only running on two modules (had a minor disaster with the third one!). However, the main limitation is PSU so still running 3 amps into the antenna. Would appreciate frequency check if anyone is listening - the DDS unit is in the cold outside shack.
