Looking at Brian's plot for Sun / Mon the daytime path was considerably enhanced (15-20dB) over normal for the last 3 days due to the recent geomagnetic effects and the effect of the flare did not really show up dramatically. It may have 'filled in' the normal dip in strength just before dusk. Cheers de Alan G3NYK alan.melia@btinternet.com
