I definetely believe that late Peter Bobek, DJ8WL would have loved that pioneering achievement and would have recognized it as what it is: a great way on how to perform one of the silliest challenges ham-radio can have (it is even difficult to explain this to non-LF hams), passing information over the Atlantic using LF. Peter would also like the idea that a lot of the Transatlantic successes were performed in the same way as his first attempts to cross the channel a couple of years back: using extremely slow CW with dot-length way over 60 seconds. I remember quite well the excitement of when I was able to see his DA0LF signal over the remarkable distance of 284 km as a thin line on FFTDSP in early 1997. We have come a long way in the meantime ... Congrats on what has been achieved! Best 73 Geri, DK8KW (W1KW)
