I know it's a really hard thing to do, but I have trained myself to disregard such remarks - and simply hit the 'Delete' key on the message. Many of those offensive remarks to which you refer have been aimed at me personally - but, as hurtful as they could be, they do no physical harm. I guess that such remarks can only be offensive if the recipients allow themselves to be offended. So many truly wicked things happen in the world that I can tolerate a little eccentricity.
