The only thing is that you must be clear of any electromagnetic source, such as power lines, TV sets, computers and other fluorescent lights. On my side, the most interfering power lines are just 8 m above ground level. The antenna, on the lowest part, is just about 12 m above ground level, and seperated from the line, on one side (1/4), by about 60m. There is absolutely no QRM at any time of the day. And I do hear most of the guys on this list when they 'speak' normal CW. However, tahit is, with a CW filter, a DSP and a fine QTH. 73, Mark, F6JSZ JN04PX http://perso.club-internet.fr/sovergne Rik Strobbe a *crit : > > One more prove that a horizontal antenna at very low height really works ! > > ... .. > > Rik ON7YD > > At 13:35 16/05/00 +0100, G3XDV wrote: > >F6JSZ wrote: > >> The amplifier is nearly finished and I have to repair the antenna which > >> has fallen down on one leg (250 m of wire on the ground). > > > >This reminds me of the day I got my licence.
