We were using some wooden masts each 300 ft high ex radar experimental masts. I had a KW2000A rig in my car working/M. I met a local chap who was a radio ham called Peter and G3L something, its a long time ago and I do not remember. He volunteered to climb the mast and put me up an antenna for 160 metres. He was as agile as a MONKEY and probably still is although he must be getting on in years now. Was this by chance G3LDO who said in a recent bulletin that he had a lot of experience with very high towers. G3KEV I
