Reference the   IOM  group activity by  GD3YXM, GD3XTZ and GD0MRF,  thank you for the opportunity to work GD for the first time and for generating lots of great activity. Well done.

GD3YXM,  thanks Dave for the phone call on Sunday afternoon, telling me you were active then using the kite antenna, I had just stumbled home from the Doctor, my Flu had got worse during the day....'' get to bed and stay there'' ,  he said.  As you know Dave before doing that I fired up my transmitter and had a great contact with you, your signal peaking over  S9.
I'm not sure who was feeling the poorer, you or me, as I could hear the wind howling in the background , on your mobile phone, as you operated from the beach at  Point of Ayre, I hope you all managed to warm up again, at the lighthouse.

Earlier I worked  Peter (G3LDO) , operating as  GB2CPM, another new one for me.

Only problem now , when there's a lot of activity on the band, one wonders if one is crushing someone else's DX by just coming  on the air. What a change from the time the band opened first.

Thanks again to all stations worked and the listeners reports, which I find very helpful, gives one a better 'feel ' for the band.
