Despite the fact that Dave's signal was nearly burried in the noise, the G3PLX software decoded his signal so that I could give him 439 as a report. I received 339 by him. In his first over I had some difficulties to tune onto his signal because my MV62 synthesizer has a step resolution of 10 Hz with a kind of RIT-control allowing 0-10 Hz to be adjusted. A PSK31 signal must be tuned to an accuracy of a few Hertz only, so this is really a challange. The PSK31 software has a build-in AFC, but with the low signal levels on LF it has difficulties to tune in onto the signal. Dave, thank you for this nice QSO! Best 73 Geri, DK8KW (W1KW)
