At 0630 Geri called Dave on PSK31 and made a qso, unfortunately Geri was too weak for me to copy on PSK31, though his carrier was strong enough for hand speed morse copy. Geri was the same strength in his beacon transmission at 0900z, again no copy. On Sunday, I copied Geri working DK1IS at 0704Z on QRS, geri was a good 'O' but I could not detect DK1IS at all. Again a strong QRS signal from Mike G3XDV at 0843z. I also heard Steve GW4ALG working G3YXM (0858z)at manual speed and G4GVC (0913z). I am now being plagued by an unstable rasping signal, which I think may be the power supply of a local TV set, probably within 100m of my location. It is just possible, I suppose, that it could be a computer or games machine.
