This resulted in more current in the antenna and the neighbours not watching TV/computer. It also meant lower than normal LF activity. Friday 30 April Heard G3BDQ (579); G3OLB (589); GW4ALG (589); G3KEV (599). Saturday 1 May Heard DF2PY (439); G3BDQ (589); G6NB (579); EI0CF (539). Worked G4GVC (599, 579). Sunday 2 May Very bad local noise. Also went out most of day. Heard G3YXM (599) By the time local noise had gone, the static was S '9'. Monday 3 May Local noise very low indeed for most of the morning - best day for weeks. Bad QRM from 1500. Heard G3KEV (599); G4GVC (599), G3XTZ (5 9+10 9); G6RO (549), G3OLB (589). Using QRSs and Spectrogram, QSO with ON4ZK ('O', 'O'). During the QSO G0MRF came up calling CQ only 3Hz away and much stronger than ON4ZK but made no difference to readability. Whilst suffering from insomnia, I heard the 137.0kHz RTTY at about 0130UTC on both Saturday and Sunday nights. Mike, G3XDV (IO91VT) http://www.dennison.demon.co.uk/activity.htm
