My enquiry after the CFA certainly provoked a wide range of responses! Ranging from professorial admonishings to construction details. Johan, I think you should apologise for nothing! As an informative response to the question it was a positive contribution. Thanks to all those who communicated directly (apparently aware of the likely mildly hysterical responses) with your answers. Your responses provided the answers I was seeking (indicating that my original surmise that the CFA was in the same class as cold fusion was on the mark - In fact I propose to rename the CFA the Cold Fusion Antenna). I realise the embarrassment that may be associated with the mention of cold fusion in some geographical quarters, but it was a question, nothing more. P.S. One person's wasted BW is another person's question answered. 73s Steve Olney (VK2ZTO - QF56IK : Lat -33 34 07, Long +150 44 40) ======================================== email: ollaneg@zeta.org.au Web Page: http://www.zeta.org.au/~ollaneg LowFer: http://www.zeta.org.au/~ollaneg/lowfer.htm LF Receiving - FRG-100, 8-turn 10sqm Loop or Ferrite Loop + K0LR Preamp ========================================
