My crystal for the VXO has now arrived and I'm looking forward to being on this mode after my return from a weeks R+R in HB9 land next week. 73 David. I've noticed that the built-in waterfall is useful for displaying signals weak enough to be barely audible, but no weaker. PSK31sbw can decode weaker signals, however, and a more sensitive display is needed. Suddenly my idea light came on...The Windows program SPECTROGRAM works well for displaying super weak CW. Using a spectrum average of 4, I've been able to watch a 2700 kHz bandwidth and watch for the familiar double - line spectrum of psk31 signals. With a frequency marker traced on the waterfall, I simply tune my li'l ATS-909 to place the signal on the marker. When PSK31sbw is started, it is right on frequency... So, if you're hunting DX, just use a good scope to find your prey! 73, Phil KG2DH >>
