I'm looking at code to generate a WSPR signal directly from a DDS/PIC combination controlled from GPS timing When done, it will be possible to leave a beacon running without having to leave the PC on overnight. PAs and drivers, happy enough leaving on unattended as I have control over their thermal protection etc, But PCs, although designed for 100% on-time, I don't have control over their hardware. Also, PICs driving DDSs aren't prone to crashing Andy G4JNT www.g4jnt.com 2009/1/26 dave.riley3 : > I waited till past 7am Z but the past several frames were without a > signal... > > The creshendo, possibly grey line signal was about 30 minutes previous, then > nothing... > > Started copying you well before sunset here... > > Throughout the monitor time, the proton density was above 10 > > TNX > > Dave @ FN42pb " Western Tower " > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Moritz" > > To: > Sent: Monday, January 26, 2009 8:21 AM > Subject: LF: Re: WSPR 503.5 > > >> Dear Dave, LF Group, >> >> Many thanks to everyone who listened for the WSPR beacons and for all the >> reports.
