I am not so sure an R1155 is the sort of inhaler one should be using but he seems to be happy with it. I have taken to tuning the band low to high and high to low after calling CQ. (Where have I heard that before?). There is nothing to be heard from the boys down West, not a rustle in the noise even. Apparently I've been heard in Solva so I'll stick to the loaded tee although I had plans to rearrange it and make it a loaded 'L' in an effort to work Adrian. Incidentally how is your set up going? I've not heard you on for a week or two maybe more. Any changes to your ground system and vertical to improve matters? 73 Colin G3VTT n a message dated 01/07/2007 06:22:31 GMT Standard Time, dave@davesergeant.com writes: On 30 Jun 2007 at 23:36, CHRISTOPHER OSBORN wrote: > Please keep an ear open for Adrian G4GDR, Swindon. > He's crystal controlled around 502 kHz and calls CQ for ages without > getting many replies. > > Several stations QSO'd over the top of him today, neither side hearing > the other. I have also many times heard others having QSOs on top of him (G3VTT and G3XAQ were having a ragchew on top last night). Adrian is a good 589 signal here. Maybe he also needs to look at his receiver, as do some others. It also shows the pitfalls of being crystal controlled on a narrow band. 73 Dave G3YMC http://www.davesergeant.com -------------------------------1183280531 Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

I have given Adrian calls in the past and he ha= s=20 obviously not heard
