Yes, it's either an 'interesting' distance from London to you and all of my signal is somewhere up in the ionosphere, or there is a noise or sensitivity issue. The MRF beacon seems to get to Birmingham 24/7 and the shetlands between dusk in London and about 9.30UTC, which I would guess is a little after dawn on the islands.
