Should I use :- 1 - Resonant length counterpoises 2 - Random length counterpoises 3 - Ground spike/rod 4 - Both counterpoises & earth rod? The manufacturer says mount 18 inches above ground & connect bracket to earth spike. I can't mount it like this due to the layout of my small garden, the ideal place to mount it is on a short mast at the rear of my garage at about 8 to 10 feet above ground at that point but the ground slopes up nearby to make the bse of the antenna about 4 feet above the top of the slope. items in the way are a small greenhouse, the garage, pergola, garden fence & the slope of course. For brief details of antenna see - http://www.sandpiperaerials.co.uk/ Regards, Gary - G4WGT - IO83qp Web : http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/wgtaylor
