Hi John,

Thanks for that info, I don't remember LORAN A on 1900khz the only thing I
recall is the navigational aid somewere around 1900khz which sent a series
of differing frequency tones & was quite melodic but I can't remember what
it was called, unless that was LORAN A & not the chattering type of
transmission we are used to with LORAN C.

I doubt that it could be a Loran line.  The nearest Loran system in
frequency used to be Loran A with a centre frequency just above 1900kHz.  It
was the bane of Topband DXers but was shut down years ago.
