Hi Everyone

I was pleased to see a mention on the Radco= m LF=20 page concerning my LF efforts, thanks to Dave G3YXM.

I must appologise for some false info,=20 however.  My garden is 10 metres long not 10 feet.
This is entirely my fault, as I originally=20= said=20 feet, then corrected it to 10m, but was still struggling with new Vista soft= ware=20 having replaced the Windows 95.  I guess the uncorrected version was se= nt=20 out instead.   Sorry Dave.

My aerial is a 40m loop (more like a trapez= ium),=20 max height 8m, about 12m across the top (3m going over the garage between th= e=20 houses.  It operates as a loop on 80m, but open at one end for 160= m=20 and 600m, with a loading coil in the shack for the latter.   I hav= e=20 had QSOs with two local amateurs, Peter M0FMT and Chris G3XIZ.  Chris a= lso=20 reports that I have been heard by someone else further away.   Its= not=20 much so far, but it at least keeps the band open, and who knows in the=20 future.

I am using a GP receiver which seems a bit=20= deaf at=20 500kHz (The 2nd IF is 455 kHz), so I am presently constructing a DC receiver= for=20 500kHz.   If others have tried to contact me, and I have not answe= red,=20 you now know why.   I usually go live between 1145 and 1230 l= ocal=20 time, and occasionally in the evenings between 1900 and 2100=20 local.   You can easily identify my attrocious morse.
