'Winter Sports' is a complete rub out here alas with wall to wall QRM from TB to 30m In desperation I called my head off on 20m and despite getting some good spots on the reverse beacon network no one called me. I tried a similar trick last night on 160m and eventually managed one QSO - with Ian ! I'm afraid the days of QRP CW seem numbered and unless the RSGB etc. seriously get to grips with the severe QRM problem ops will just either pack it in or go QRO. I wanted to test all my HB gear but have fallen short. At present I've got a most unusual set up for WSPRing on 30m (never done that):- I have a free running 10.1 MHz VFO locked to my divide by 10 PLL itself driven by the Chinese sig gen (at 1.0138 MHz) The locked output then feeds my 'universal QRP DSB WSPR TX' hopefully giving about 0.1W RF No one's spotted me yet but 30m is jam packed so I may just be getting squashed. I look forward to seeing my signals on your grabber again - most useful that! Have a pleasant evening and I shall be in the shack for most of it. 73 Chris On Sat, Dec 31, 2016 at 1:19 PM, M0FMT wrote: > Hi Chris G3XIZ HNY > > Thanks for coming back to my CQ on CW on 630m today. Hi Chris G3XIZ HNY=

Thanks for=C2=A0coming back to my CQ on CW on 630= m today. It goes to show there is human life on the band.

I am working up yet another 136 rig hope to get some use out of=C2= =A0 this one in 2017.

The FMT 472 grabber goes off= tomorrow night. I will dump the images onto disc as a permanent=C2=A0testi= mony to how little human operation occurs over a three week period around h= ere.
