An extract from a uk 500  station note book ......

There I was, a-digging this hole=20
A hole in the ground, so big and sort of round it was=20
There was I, digging it deep=20
It was flat at at the bottom and the sides were steep=20
When along, comes this bloke in a bowler which he lifted and scratched=
 his head=20
Well we looked down the hole, poor demented soul and he said=20

Do you mind if I make a suggestion?=20

Don't dig there, dig it elsewhere=20
Your digging it round and it ought to be square=20
The shape of it's wrong, it's much much too long=20
And you can't put hole where  a hole don't belong=20


Mean while  these ''new comers''  with no experience of  LF experiment=
ation  quietly  slip into  the  record books  with the  first  WEST CO=
AST  decode  on 500 =20
while the  more  experienced ponder the finer points of  plastic V bra=
ss  key  tapping , =20
