Last night my 1mW ERP was being received at 0dB S/N on WSPR and already he's given me -3dB again tonight. If signals are *this* strong by sky wave, how much further could I reasonably expect to get? SM6BHZ and GM4SLV have heard me (850-950kms), but can I (reasonably) expect much further? What is the typical attenuation on each ground reflection for multiple hops over water and over land? BTW, still not on 136kHz yet. 73s Roger G3XBM -- ------------------------------------------------------------- http://g3xbm-qrp.blogspot.com/ http://www.g3xbm.co.uk G3XBM GQRP 1678 ISWL G11088 --0003255599ba0008f00479d6d294 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable In the evenings I'm surprised just how good my reports are from F6CNI= some 418kms away near Paris.
