Mal, CYCLES, KILOCYCLES and MEGACYCLES =20 ARE TOTALLY MEANINGLESS in the way you have offered them. Hertz is at worse an arbitrary name for a properly defined unit of fre= quency. It is universally understood, even by you, and it is unambiguously defined. Without a unit of time, your frequency labels are worthless.
