Thanks both of you for the nice reports.

I've been experimenting over the last couple of days and have finally
cracked it I think by changing from a Soundblaster 128 to a Yamaha sound
card. Now people can see me when signals are weak, and the calibration is
correct.
The new TX is working well too!
