Hi Mal,
It might be worth considering when referring to peoples poor RX capabi=
lity that local QRM is on the increase and difficult to overcome no ma=
tter how good your set up is.
I agree with what you say up to a point about the causes of lack of ac=
tivity, I also think all this VLF stuff has had an unfortunate impact=
 on on the regular bands (136/500kHz).
I will be sorry to see you go, as a relative new comer to 136kHz, I wa=
s delighted to get your signal report/capture of my mere 25W of RF. Yo=
u made my day!
I haven't been on recently while I experiment with antennas in the bet=
ter WX. Back soon though.
