This is a lot weaker at 1000mi and the skywaves are = relatively stronger. The depth of the fade is a function of the strength = of the two paths whose relative phase is changing. If the amplitudes are = equal then there is a total "wipeout" ....I guess 10% fade says one path = is 20dB stronger than the other.
