How nice it is to be insulated from the ear bending crash of next doors fridge, the key clicks of the over driven transmitters and the rouge frequency modulated sidebands of the old thermionic museum pieces that occasionally wobble and wander round the middle of the band in a attempt to attract attention only to be squarely defeated by a well written block of machine code, Ah, the joys of being a appliance operator, 'APPLIANCE OF SCIENCE' as the advert used to say . Its progress Jim , but not as we know it , 'For tribal man space was the uncontrollable mystery. For technological man it is time that occupies the same role' Im sure Ive seen some posts about space of late ? g ..
