I spent quite some time trying to send an uncompressed stream (raw audio
data) from a Raspi to a windows PC running SpecLab, without success.
From the examples it wasn't possible to learn how it is done, at least
for me.
There is an example:
# Send data from channel 2 of buffer @raw to port 9876 on host foo,
# using 2 byte integer format, and maintain the connection
vtcat @raw:2 ++foo,9876,i2
What means foo ???????? Must it be the IP adress of the PC where SpecLab is running?
Can is use any port, just a random number like 9876 or 8765 or 7654?
Don't i need to tell the firewall to let that stream pass, i.e. opening a port?
