Not everyone has a permanent VLF receiving set-up. I am happy to run a VLF receiver but to do so I must stop my 136kHz activities, retune the antenna (in daylight), and set up an extremely slow spectrogram which will take several hours to show enough background noise to prove that it is working. There must be other stations who would like to join in with the tests but are in the same position as me. Sometimes, by the time the spectrogram displays anything useful the transmission has stopped or, worse, the transmitting station does not say when he has stopped transmitting. Thanks.
