Well i used my portable LF receiver, an active bandpass (no voltage gain but a high Z input and a 50 Ohm output) as a frontend. There is no earth on the tree so i took a 4m long wire hanging down. The antenna was a simple wire, maybe 1.5 m long hanging into branches. So it was just a first test. Then there was QRM from the tablet PC. It was possible to reduce it but it is not ideal. However i like to follow the idea of LF on the tree, at least i will do tests to see how much better the reception is relative to the city. DCF39 had an SNR of about 80 dB in 1 Hz. I'm quite sure i saw the OP32 signal of G3XDV. I'll continue to play... 73, Stefan Am 30.08.2016 18:06, schrieb Domenico IZ7SLZ: > > I'm now QRV on 137485.00 Hz in op32 > > GL Stefan. > > 73, Domenico iz7slz > > On 30 Aug 2016 15:37, "DK7FC" > wrote: > > > > > > Hi all, > > > > If someone is ready to TX on LF, it would be nice to see something > there from now until 18 UTC. Thanks for the test signals and advice.

DCF39 had an SNR of  about 80 dB in 1 Hz.
I'm quite sure i saw the OP32 signal of G3XDV.

I'll continue to play...

I'm now QRV on 137485.00 Hz in op32
