You were booming here 599. Easy copy but I still have to train my ears a bit, not to get "false or nill decodes" hi hi I know Federico EA2HB and we have made two CW QSOs. Yesterday I got him random and then after we talked by phone. Told you about your schedule so he waited to try the QSO. He is a 76 yeard old man and very technical skilled in MF. He was technician and PTT inspector in the 60-90ths And one of the five experimental licenses in EA on 500Khz before we got access to 477 and 136KHz He told me he tried with you several times answering your CQs but nill so far. One of the problems was QRG At first he was calling you 100Hz over your QRG and later 220Hz. If you use narrow filters this shuld be an added problem His Tx conditions are limited. He can not run more power because there are archs somewere on the coil The problem is that he doesn`t feel secure working on the roof, so not many chances for him to improve Better wait for a night with good conditions and then try Yesterday was an interesting day. Worked IK4NMF, I6BQI (random), heard 9H1ES !!, OK2BVG Random and the king of the band .... DK7FC ! :-) Unfortunately the Paris disasters shadowed this at late night I will QSL this. Really worths ;-) 73 de Luis EA5DOM ________________________________________ De: owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org [owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org] en nombre de DK7FC [selberdenken@posteo.de] Enviado: sábado, 14 de noviembre de 2015 1:03 Para: rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org Asunto: LF: EA5DOM-DK7FC-EA2HB Hi Luis, Thanks for our first CW QSO. Your signals were much stronger then expected, 569, easy copy (but special anyway!) :-) I heared the other station, heared it was the number 2 in the callsign. You QSPed me it was EA2HB. That would be a new one for me. But for a first QSO i need to completely understand the call and RST at least, otherwise it would not be valid for myselfe. Maybe next time. I never heared him calling in CW so far. Do you know about his station? I bet there is room for another 6 dB on his side!? That would have made it possible... 73, Stefan
