For the next attempt i can run 250 mA i think. Last night it was about 230 mA, a bit more than expected. For a super long message, taking a few days, i.e. many day-night-day changes, would you think that going from 100s to 200s will improve things by about 3 dB? How long do you record the VLF soundcard stream? Would it be possible, for example, to transmit a 1 week long message, without an announcement before the start? If not, what are the time limits? I would like to try something heavy and use 200s symbols. We could train that as long we are using such high frequencies :-) 73, Stefan Am 15.05.2016 21:23, schrieb Paul Nicholson: > Reconstructed carrier of the successful 2016-05-14_21:40:02 > message > > http://abelian.org/vlf/tmp/160515a.gif > > S/N is 19.15 dB. > > The unsuccessful message 2016-05-13_00:00:02 > > http://abelian.org/vlf/tmp/160515b.gif > > S/N is 11.67 dB. > > Noise was 4.63 dB higher and the signal 2.86 dB weaker. > > About 3dB too weak to decode. > > Looking forward to the 19 char decode.
