I'm curious how it will work during the summer time. It is not to far away. Let's assume i want to send a 5 character long message each day, for example my call. Would you think it is more efficient to try shorter symbol lengths in the morning time when QRN is low or would it be better to use 100s symbols and run the transmission partly during higher QRN periods? Of course it will depend on the direction where the QRN comes from. But an 'average statement' may be possible. 73, Stefan Am 27.04.2016 17:17, schrieb Paul Nicholson: > Stefan wrote: > > > f = 8270.1 Hz > > Start: 26.04.2016 19:30:02 UTC > > Coding 8K19A > > CRC 16 > > Period 60 > > Length 6 > > Copied 'SPRING' at Eb/N0 = +1.5, almost constant > reference phase: 180 180 150 150 > > Carrier S/N: 18.63 dB in 29.8 uHz > > In audio bandwidth: -60.6 dB after sferic blanking, > About -80dB before blanking. > > Here is the error map > > http://abelian.org/vlf/tmp/160426a.gif > > Each vertical line indicates a symbol error. > > 4/4 > > -- > Paul Nicholson > -- >
