Yes, adding a second wire to the antenna is certainly a good decision. But more height is better then more wire in a lower height. So if you have 50m up in 14m and you can add another 50m at the same height, then do it :-) 370 V, i assume this is measured on the cold end of the coil. Which current do you get then? Is the coil inside the house or outside in the garden? There should be nothing lossy near the coil, no walls or trees. The coil should be lifted from ground to a height of the diameter of the coil. This may also help to reduce your HV problems. Can you send some photos of the setup (links)? 73, Stefan PS: My local transmission has just finished after > 2 months :-) I will soon transmit too... Hello Stefan,
I assume that's me.
There ar about 370Veff on the coil. If I increase the voltage I will get problems.
The best would be if I improve the antenna. The antenna is now horizontal 50m and high 14m.
I am working on it.

Hi VLF,

I can see a stable trace at exactly 8270.0010 Hz. It is relatively long, must be more then 24 hours. I bet it is man-made (OM-made!).
Is it DL3NDR?
If so, the antenna current or antenna efficiency, i.e. the ERP must have improved. That would maybe allow a EbNaut experiment with >= 40s symbols. Or DFCW-60000 :-)

73, Stefan
