Hi Martin,

Another thing, maybe:
Did you disable all "sound improvements" on Win7, such as AGC or "bass 
booster" and similar nonsense? And maybe there is a loop somewhere? 
Maybe you can check to mute all outputs and other inputs except the one 
you need.
