I should accept them and sell them on to enthusiastic builders. I'd quite like, say, a 500VA 40+40V toroidal for which I'd happily pay! Do the cores of mains transformers have any useful re-purposing ability at LF? Thanks, a Google search didn't, surprisingly, find any info on other uses for old cores.
