compiled the source code and can easily be used into the  (Windows) program.

This is Windows compatible port of the K9AN C port of the WSPR decoder.
It compilies with the free Visual Studio express. The two libs: 
libfftw3-3 and libsndfile-1 are dinamically linked, so you will need the 
dlls in the program directory.
Also to compile you might need to put the .lib files
in your VS libs directory, get them from converted_libs folder.

To add to WSPR-X:
- Close the program
- Rename the existing wsprd.exe to wsprd__.exe
- Put the new executable plus the two dlls into the WSPR-x directory
- Double click on wsprd.exe to see if all ok, if you get error starting,
you need runtime libs from MS site

- Run WSPR-X as normal

There are some small bugs in it, but for comparing reception of the two 
instances it will do.

Meanwhile it has been incorporated in WSJT-X R5499.
Unfortunately in the later versions WSPR it has been removed.

What I noticed clearly, that there is a slight more depth search.
sometimes a 3dB extra on the edge of noise.
Moreover, as stated earlier in this reflector, the intercept between 
"strong" and "weak"station close to each other has been improved 
considerably.
You will notice this best on the crowded bands like 30m and 20m.
Running 2 instances (old and new) you will see the the WSPR_old will 
miss out some calls.

There is command to run WSJT-X in multiple instances otherwise it will 
read the same file and will cause an error/crash.
