This coming *sunday, 20th*, i'm planning to visit DF5QG in JO42. We intend to play arround with a kite antenna which will be about 100m high. The ground losses are quite low and maybe we can try to build a Lambda/4 vertical for 630m, which should have about 50 Ohm feed point impedance then. With some power we should be able to reach the magical 1 W ERP limit. Maybe someone out there will hear us. The antenna currents will be relatively low though, due to the high radiation resistance on MF... We also want to try 137 kHz later. It all depends on the WX, as usual. I'm on a tour through Germany, more than 1500km, so i cannot carry my VLF coil all the time, thus no VLF transmissions in this experiment. If someone is interested in skeds in CW on LF or MF or anything else, just tell us your ideas :-) 73, Stefan/DK7FC --------------090502050303010404000603 Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi all,
