Hello Tobias,

Thanks for the observations.. had to go qrt quite early yesterday. 
Conditions not favourable, especially not for overnight 'dx' reception 
there was too much noise.
About the SNR : I think there is a slight discrepancy between the SNRs 
indicated in the modified variant and in the original code (about 2 dB 
when measured with synthetic noise + a pure sinewave) which needs 
further examination.
