I don't think the ionosphere model is very detailed. Whatever path I model gives a flat prediction for nighttime and also the day/night transitions often bear little resemblence to measurements. At best it seems to give reasonable predictions of day and night typical signal strength. Signal holding steady 2014-03-02_06:00:00 0.10 fT 8.3 deg (Times are start times of 30 minute measurements) Could someone give lat/long or QRA of the transmitter? -- Paul Nicholson --
