All is not  quite as it seam's !

During the  convoluted discussions with   Offcomm , over the  establishment 
of the  GB4FPR  500 nov  for a  perm ant  special event  station .. which 
was established with the  intent of conducting both experimental and  normal 
armature radio activity's, the licensing officer at Offcom made the 
statement that 'he had no issues with  normal armature activity on 500' and 
duly issued the  nov  to  the  station in time for the  forth coming 
International Marconi Day.

So for  those  who hold the  uk 500 nov  it  would  appeared  though 
slightly restricted in bandwidth 'we' are perhaps the most empowered by the 
licensing authority's .. we even have a  official beacon .. not that the 
others are not, its just that it did  cross more than the  countries 
boundary's  when established.

Three cheers  to  Offcom (and by the  way can you  do anything about the 
mains network adaptors please)
