"As part of the piece we would like to explain how=20
communications worked. How were messages sent from shore to
the submarine?

"I know you specialise in  low frequencies,  and I=B4d very
much like to have a chat with you about the principles
involved in undersea comms. Specifically about  VLF ( very
low frequency) transmissions.

"We also hope to set up a `rough science=B4 experiment
which would help explain how/ why VLF is able to penetrate
water.

"Unfortunately we are up against a tight deadline, and need
to film the item during the first week of December."
