The tx  qrg is   8270   Hz  , the  Opera   OP4H  is  8900/8925  , so  that  is  a  increase  in  frequency  of 700  Hz , so  should have  sight  positive  affect  on gain ?  ?

Yes  I think  SP can be used  for  this  qsy  , but  as to the  affect on s/n  I dont  know

His name is Henny! ;-)
Going down to 8910 Hz means another reduction of the antenna efficiency and it is quite an effort to move the resonance of the antenna. Not a 5 minute job, maybe not even a 5 hour job! It is better to shift the frequency range to the desired TX frequency. This can be done in SpecLab of course. But actually it should be possible to add this feature in the software itselfe, i.e. in OP4H.

Is it possible you  could  try  running the   audio  version  of  Opera   OP4H  ( 4 hour) ? as of yet , there  have only  been   garden  path  tests  , never  with any  high  power !

The decoder  pass  band  is   8900   Hz to   8925 Hz  ,   making  round  8910  mid  band , there is no  way to  alter  this  , in the  this mode the  software  uses the  sound card  as  SDR ,  tx/rx  , but  also  can  on-off  key  with the  com port  drive ,

This is  700 Hz hf  of your  qrg   ,  would this be a  problem  with the  Ae tune  ?
