Thanks for the link Clemens - reading the 'history' at the moment... 
seems the developer had similar experience with faked semiconductors 
from China. This happened to me as well, and not only with parts bought 
at Reichelt elektronik (even though the "Reichelt" case was a very 
drastic example).
