The Array Solutions AIM4170 Antenna Analyzer, reviewed in Radcom July 07
and further described in 'Antennas' Radcom August 07, is a splendid tool
for analyzing and setting up the resonating and matching of LF antennas.
The internal signal source is from the DDS is programmable from 0.1MHz
to 170MHz so is fine for the 136 and 500kHz bands.
I am using my HF quad with the feeder and the quad elements resonated
and matched against ground.
Efficiency less than -20dBi but this isn't an issue on 500kHz because
the erp limit is so low.

At present hearing GI4DPE's CW beacon loud and clear.

BTW will put details on my web site when I get it together.
