I get various weak carriers from time to time in the band, which are not stable and drift. I have always assumed these are birdies coming out of my pc/router as is the somewhat stronger burble I get on 500.00 which goes off when I turn the pc off. I suspect this is what you are hearing Alan. Adrian put out a reasonably stable signal when he is on, he doesn't beacon, rather more lots of CQs. 73 Dave G3YMC http://www.davesergeant.com
