Have you downloaded the file to your hard drive or are you trying to 
play it directly through the browser from the site? If the latter you 
may have plugin or firewall issues.

Don't use Media Player very much here, I far prefer Irfanview 
(http://www.irfanview.com) for all image, audio and video files. You 
need to download all its plugins as well to play MP3. It plays fine 
here as downloaded and I did check and it plays in MediaPlayer as 
well (v9, haven't bothered with anything more recent...). The file 
was produced with Audacity, excellent freeware sound recording 
program.
