Especially because the current RIT position is displayed in decimal numeric form on the display. The A/D converter won't be very impressed by a higher voltage from the RIT pot ;-) But in the meantime, I built a small active antenna with a high-Q preselector (L/C tank, and FET source follower) which seems to work reasonably well.
