I did not tried the teflon models, but in the years 2002 I had an = home made=20 ampli on 2200m band, with 2 x 3-500Z tubes, also 800 W output.
 
I used Russian = doorknob=20 capacitors types K15U-2 and KVI-3 without any problem. They are still = avaible on=20 the UR4LL surplus parts site http://www.ur4ll.net/
