You all gave me a lot of material to think about and upon which to make my decision. I like very much the feature of being able to input an external reference at 10 MHz. I completed a few months ago my own GPSDO (one day, when I will defeat my lazyness in writing, I will publish the project, based on the Atmel AT90S8535), so the idea of using it with the Racal is appealing. What rest to be seen are the actual conditions of that unit, which has been described as being in good shape and working, but, of course, being the St. Thomas that I am, I need to see and touch and hear it myself before departing from the money...
