When in doubt, radiate a few microwatts .... in my shack this technique is used often and works well. G3WSC was about +14 dBuV at 1950z on my Marconi. Gain unknown ... expecially after the debate on antenna efficiency and ERP, but I extimated to have approx. -30 dBi.
